Step 1

Place the frog families on the side of the pond

Step 2

Move the frogs across the pond by jumping over a path of lily pads. But watch out.. the fish can scare frogs back to the start!

Step 3

The first player to get their entire frog family across the pond wins the game.

  • My kids love playing this game! It is a fun for all ages and there are different options for a shorter or longer game- which helps when you get kids are playing!
  • Froggit was a lot of fun. This game was challenging and fun because you can stump the other players and send them back to home. I like that the game can be more than two players.
  • Froggit is a great multi player game that involves critical thinking moves and lots of laughs. My girls have such a great time playing together and with friends. Hopping across the pond escaping the fish brings lots of laughs and sometimes a bit of frustration as well but we have had so much fun. I highly recommend this game for preschoolers and up.
  • Wow! As soon as we opened this game we were excited to play it. It’s visually appealing and the game pieces are high quality and built to last. We enjoy playing it as a family and with our homeschool friends. Carefully strategize and compete to get your frog family to the other side of the pond - but don’t let the fish get you! We love that there are multiple ways to play included in the instructions (varying levels of complexity and even a speedier version). Highly recommend adding this one to the game shelf and the classroom!
  • We are HUGE fans for any Smart Games. Most we played were 1 player games. This one was fun to incorporate the whole family at once together. It may seem complicated at first, but once you review the directions it's easy to follow. It would be a good addition to family game night that involves clever thinking without the electronics. =)
  • Our kids love playing Froggit! The goal of getting your frog family across the pond before a team member thwarts you efforts make this game super fun!
  • Froggit was fun for the whole family. The logic is matched with luck, bringing tons of laughs and a lot of friendly competition.
  • This is one very colorful game; definitely visually appealing. Getting the frogs across the board is pretty funny because you find out which of your children is ruthless when they block you. The frogs are very colorful and my boys had a blast playing with them.
  • The game looks fun and interesting, similar to Chinese checker with few extra rules. Kids love the idea of frogs jumping on the lily pads and the fact that they can scare others’ frog back to their start point makes them extra competitive to fight for the fish. Its a little hard for my six-year-old to 100% understand the rule, he needs us to keep mention about jumping over other frog, but he still enjoy the game.
  • Perfect for a little ones who want to play big kid games! They will be using their clever planning skills to conquer the enemy in a Safeway
  • This is my new "Go To" game- it is so fun and colorful, and it can easily be adapted and enjoyed by a variety of ages. Everyone loved the fish who tries to gulp the frogs!
  • This game is sooooo much fun! my students absolutely loved it!!! There are so many essential skills students can work on in this game that its an absolute must for any parent or teacher. Working on being flexible because at any moment you could be sent back to the beginning, is a huge skill so many students need to work on using their flexible brains while playing this game. Also I love that theres a clear winner, so students can practice how does a winner respond and how what can others say to the winner. Great game with some many developmental skills to be used!
  • This is a fun game to play with young ones as well as strengthens memory and cognitive skills.
  • I am especially fond of games that encourage critical and strategic thinking and are addictively fun to play. SmartGames are a classroom favorite! The pieces are attractive, durable, and hold up incredibly well. Froggit is a new addition to our classroom and already a big hit! Learning to play required some involvement on my part perhaps since the instructions describe two levels of game play, (basic and advanced). The objective is similar to checkers in that the goal is to advance your pieces to the opposite side of the game board. However, the frog and a pond theme results in a clever adaptation. My students preferred to play with the advanced instructions which involves a greater degree of strategy since players can form frog "teams" by stacking small frogs on top of larger frogs and "trapping" small frogs underneath larger frogs, giving players unique advantages. It can be played with 2-6 players, but having more players increases the level of critical and strategic thinking required.
